When the weather is hot and moist, they don't have to be aggravated by dampened clothes clinging to their skins and making the muggy sensation even worse. Any sweat is free to simply evaporate.
...Save that it would be very aggravating to have to spend so much time covering the entirity of ones body with suntan lotion. And, were sunburn to occur, it would be highly uncomfortable, methinks.
